General Information

Studying at MF UM

At the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Maribor most exchanges are conducted in the form of practical training — incoming students become included in day-to-day work at the University Medical Centre Maribor for set periods of time — as we do not offer courses in English. For inclusion into courses (lectures, seminars, coursework), understanding of Slovenian language on level B2 (under CEFR) is required.

For practical work you can apply within the Erasmus+ study or within the Erasmus+ practice. In both cases a student receives 2 ECTS for every week of practical work. Due to the nature of the exchange, students of higher study years will take priority.

The exchange for all applicants from a specific faculty/university can only be approved for the duration determined per year by the Erasmus+ agreement between the faculties/universities (consult your Erasmus+ coordinator or contact person at your faculty).

Izmenjavi sta mi prinesli veliko osebne in profesionalne rasti – postala sem bolj samostojna, razgledana, okrepila sem znanje tujega jezika in se še bolj utrdila v svoji poklicni poti.

Postala sem bolj samostojna, samozavestna in odprta.
