It tests knowledge and, above all, practical skills for responding in life-threatening situations, and emphasizes the importance of teamwork and effective communication under pressure. <\/p>\n<p>At this year's competition in Ljubljana, the Slovenian teams of paramedics and students were joined by teams from Austria and North Macedonia and a group of family physicians from the Czech Republic. <\/p>\n<p>Our faculty was represented by two teams. One team took overall <strong>6th place<\/strong>; its members were students from the 3rd to 5th years: <strong>Sara \u010cehi\u010d, \u017diga Tibaut, Maru\u0161a Ledinek, David Repolusk and An\u017ee Balanti\u010d<\/strong>. The other team, which against exceptional competition won <strong>1st place<\/strong> with an excellent 76 out of 80 possible points, consisted of 3rd- and 4th-year students: <strong>Tim Mikola, Nik Verstov\u0161ek, Iva Vidovi\u010d, David Krajnc and Vid Poto\u010dan<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>The preparations for the competition took place with the support of the Za \u017eivljenje project, under the guidance of supervisor <strong>Dr. Maru\u0161e Esih<\/strong>, with the involvement of other emergency physicians and paramedics, who made an important contribution to the students' preparation with their experience and expertise.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Best CPR Team is an international emergency medical care competition for students, paramedics and physicians.
