Iztok Taka\u010d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term:<\/strong> from June 22, 2023 to June 21, 2027<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Maribor focuses on educating students about women\u2019s health, particularly in gynecology, obstetrics and reproductive medicine. The emphasis is on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the female reproductive system, including the management of pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care and menopausal disorders. Students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and are trained to care for women at different stages of life. The Department cooperates with UKC Maribor, where students gain direct clinical experience, and is active in research in gynecology and obstetrics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Department members:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>prof. dr.
