Andra\u017e Sto\u017eer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Term:<\/strong> from June 22, 2023 to June 21, 2027<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Physiology of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Maribor focuses on educating students about the fundamental physiological processes that enable the normal functioning of the human body. The Department covers the functions of various body systems, such as the cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, endocrine and muscular systems, and the mechanisms that enable their coordinated function and the maintenance of homeostasis. Students gain an in-depth understanding of the physiological processes that are key to understanding disease and health and develop the skills needed for clinical practice. The Department is also involved in research that contributes to the advancement of physiology and its integration with the medical sciences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Department members:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>prof. dr.
